My new blog header....

Don't you just love it?? My friend, Julie, aka Juliesaddiction, made it for me! It was a surprise and I did not know it until she put it on the message boards for me and she even mailed it to me so I am hanging it in my scrapbook room. I really love it and cannot believe how it is "me" all the way...from the flowers, pom poms, trim, colors and just overall style - totally me!! I love how she put the wings and little crown on my name too! THANK YOU JULIE!!! I really appreciate this sooo much and love it!!

Thought I'd share a few layouts I made for Mosh Posh and a wall hanging I made too for a challenge on Treasured Scrapbooking.

Also, this is a layout I did this past Monday. On Tuesday morning, my grandmother - Mama - passed away in her sleep and went to heaven. She was 92 years old and I loved her sooo much. I visited her every week at my parents house because she lived with them. She was a beautiful artist and the most wonderful person - we were very close and I will miss her very much. Her funeral was yesterday and it was just amazing how many lives she has touched. Before she became sick the last few years - we shopped and baked and cooked and did crafts together all the time. She was one of my very best friends.

Dear Lisa, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. It sounds like you sure were blessed with one terrific grandmother. What memories that you were able to visit her so often!

And yes, your header is worthy of your amazing giftedness! Just Perfect!

What a wonderful tribute to your dear Gram and how very much she added to your life! You were fortunate to have had her well into your adulthood!

Your lovely words about her influence in your life reiterates to me just how important we grammys are in our grandchildren's lives.

Love your new heading. Have enjoyed visiting a couple of other times from Sister Sheri's blog. I do scrapbooking when I need to, but my first love is cards. I do make a lot of my own books, however, and was most interested in the little book you made for your sister and her husband. It was wonderful!

Blessing on you as you begin this grief process of missing your grandmother. May you be comforted, knowing she is in Heaven! ....and bless you for being a faithful visitor to her! I know she loved that!

Warmly,
Joan

Lisa, I've been doing a whole week on Psalm 23. My pastor encouraged us to read it 5 times a day for a week and see how it affected us... our lives. And yes, I would love to hear that poem.

That layout you did of your grandparents is perfect. I know mama is up in heaven right now with poppy, laughing about all the silly things you and your girls are up to.
