Real Beauty

This is a picture of my daughter Shelby from homecoming a couple of years ago. Well, guess what? This little girl drove her shiny new car (well, new to her that is!!) to school this morning for the first time. My little girl is growing up too fast! I still cannot believe she is a senior this year. The paint job on the car came out so pretty and we were all so happy. It still needs more work, but my hubby will be working on it again this weekend.
I did this layout for the Chit Chat Challenge. It was a Shabby Chic Challenge and you had to use paint, something worn and torn, hand stitching, three metal embellishments, and words from the song "Home" by Stephanie Mills. It was really a fun layout to do and I got pull out some stash that I haven't used in quite some time. Go check out their blog. http://chitchatchallenge.typepad.com/my_weblog/
