Christmas is Only 44 Days Away!

I had such a nice relaxing weekend - didn't get much scrapbooking done, but enjoyed it. I had a wonderful visit with my grandmother and my mom on Saturday and then went to Chelsey's softball game on Sunday. I even went to bed by 10:30pm - extremely early for me as I am a night owl. This is a layout that I did in January this year for a class I taught at my local scrapbooking store - I will post the second page to it tomorrow. It was a fun class and everybody was ready to put their Christmas photos to good use. These are my two girls and my sister Suzie's children and my two girls with their great grandparents. This was my grandfather's last Christmas with us as he passed away the following year 3 days before Christmas. It was a very sad Christmas for all of us.
I really love Christmas time - it is so special! I cannot wait to begin decorating this coming week. My annual Cookie Exchange Party is on December 11th this year and I need to get my invitations made and mailed out this next week also.
Today, we finally took Shelby's car to be painted and it will be ready tomorrow evening. She is very excited! She followed behind me this morning and she is a very good driver. I pray she stays that way. Chelsey is going to the movies and for a bite to eat with her grandma (my mom) today. She is very excited. She has been cleaning her room since we got back from the ball game yesterday - she is getting rid of old stuff and storing stuff in the attic that she wants to keep. She is turning 13 this month, so she is at that age where she is ready to put away toys and little girlie things. When did I get this old that I have one turning 18 soon and the other 13 this month. Yikes!
